 Radio personality Muchina Malomba recently had the unique opportunity to witness a landmark moment in Kenya’s aviation and tourism sectorsThe partnership, announced in the breathtaking landscapes of the Maasai Mara, is set to revolutionize how travelers access Kenya’s iconic safari destinations.

The new collaboration between KQ and Safarilink aims to offer seamless safari experiences by connecting international and domestic flights more efficiently.

This strategic move is expected to make it easier for tourists to journey from global hubs straight into Kenya’s rich wildlife territories without the usual travel hassles.

Muchina, along with other invited guests, flew from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara to attend the signing ceremony, where they enjoyed the stunning beauty of one of Africa’s top safari locations while celebrating this game-changing moment.Kenya Airways’ global customers will now be able to book their international flights and domestic safari connections on a single ticket, creating a seamless and convenient travel experience. KQ’s extensive international network will now connect with two (2) daily flights to nine (9) key airstrips in the Maasai Mara, as well as Amboseli, Nanyuki, and Samburu.

This strategic collaboration eliminates the need for separate bookings and offers a streamlined journey for tourists seeking unparalleled wildlife encounters. In 2024, leisure travel accounted for the largest portion of tourist arrivals in Kenya at 44.2%, highlighting the significant demand for accessible and high-quality safari adventures.
