Rohosafi's Ex-Dabijou Reveals she is currently in a new relationship







 Rwandan social media influencer and model Bijou Dabijou has confirmed she is now in a new relationship, months after her dramatic fallout with Kenyan businessman and matatu association boss Jamal Marlow alias Rohosafi.In a candid live session broadcast in mid-June 2025, Dabijou addressed lingering questions from her fans about her love life. Her revelation came after weeks of speculation triggered by photos of her with a new man, shared on her Instagram stories.

“Yes, I’m in a relationship now. I’m happy, I feel respected, and that’s all I’ll say,” Dabijou said, smiling but choosing not to disclose the identity of her new partner.This update marks a significant shift in her personal journey, especially after the emotional strain of her short-lived connection with Rohosafi earlier this year.

Their involvement stirred online buzz when Dabijou traveled to Nairobi in May 2025 to spend time with him during her birthday. Rohosafi had even posted a “Happy birthday, bestie” tribute, sparking rumors of a romantic link.

However, things quickly soured when Dabijou went public with accusations that Rohosafi had misled her and her family, claiming he promised marriage and a serious commitment — claims Rohosafi did not publicly address.

Dabijou alleged that after being flown to Kenya, she was left feeling misled and emotionally abandoned.

“He called my parents and said he was going to marry me… then suddenly he changed. It was humiliating,” Dabijou stated during a previous interview in May.

"My family called him because that man had already called them and said he was coming to marry their daughter, "Don't worry about anything, she will be fine. I will treat such a woman like a queen." My family has the records. So you wanted me to die. You were starving me without food," she said.

Her decision to speak up won her both sympathy and criticism online, but Dabijou has since maintained a resilient tone. In her latest live session, she clarified that her current relationship is private and peaceful — a deliberate shift from the public nature of her past entanglement.

“Not everything needs to be for the internet. Some love is better when it’s quiet,” she said. Fans reacted with mixed emotions — some praising her for moving on with grace, others questioning the timing.

Still, many acknowledged that Dabijou’s emotional transparency reflects what many young women go through in the public eye. As of now, Rohosafi has not responded to her relationship update. He has remained relatively quiet on social media following the saga.
