Khalif Kairo: Why He's Done With Romantic Relationships






 City-based car dealer, Khalif Kairo has revealed the reasons why he feels unlucky in love and why he doesn't plan on returning to the dating scene anytime soon.

Speaking on the Let Me Tell You Maina podcast with legendary Classic105 FM radio presenter, Maina Kageni, Kairo began by criticizing the notion that his last girlfriend, Maria Wavinya, left him when his tribulations began to mount.

According to Kairo, Wavinya stood by him throughout the entire time from his arrest to the trial, making it clear that her absence from the court was due to his order wanting her not to come to court.

Kairo admitted that he is very bad at handling relationships, due to his busy schedule as a business person.

“The notion that she left me during my time of need is not true. We just broke up, that’s one thing I think plays out. This is because of busy schedules, you are up by 6:30 am. It takes a toll on any relationship and you know women like attention, so the moment you compromise on this then there’s a problem,” Kairo said.

“We didn’t break up because of these issues Maria was there for me and I’m the one who told her not to come to court,” He added.

The flashy businessman revealed that the real reason for their breakup was that he felt cut out of the relationship at the moment because he was channeling a lot of his time and energy into reviving his company.

“We didn’t break up because we were having all these issues, we broke up because from my end I don’t think I’m cut out for the relationships, at least not at the moment. I think once I achieve the sort of objectives that God wants me to achieve, then maybe I’ll be in a better mind space to go into a relationship, but at the moment it is very dicey,” Kairo explained.

When asked if he’s a present dad in his child’s life, Kairo deduced that women are very hard to understand, indicating that all might not be well between him and his baby mama.

“It’s a bit tricky at the moment, honestly, I’m very bad at relationships and you know women are very complicated. For me, I’m a very logical person, but with women, it depends on their mood. I struggle a lot with women to be very honest. Last year was my very first time dating in like 3 years. For the longest time I wasn’t dating,” Kairo revealed.

Kairo said after his short stint with Wavinya, he decided he was going to take a very long break from the dating scene until when he felt that he was well prepared for one.

“I’ve just decided that I am going to take a break from relationships and just focus on selling cars. For now, I’m not dating and I don’t think I am going to be dating anytime soon.”

On his future plans going forward, Kairo said that he will focus more on dealing with clients than women and asked God for more wisdom and strength to achieve that.

“After everything that I have been through, I have a very high drive to even push and I keep praying to God to give me more strength, wisdom and I honestly think I am not ready for any relationship because sometimes relationships can be a distraction because dealing with women is hard, I’d rather deal with angry clients than a moody girl,” Kairo concluded.
